அகமகிழ்வோடு தருபவர்கள் பேறுபெற்றோர்!

ஆகஸ்ட் 10, 2018: : 2கொரி 9: 6-10; யோ 12: 24-26



நேற்று நடந்த ஒரு நிகழ்வோடு தொடங்குகிறேன். நான் செய்யும் தியாகங்களை எல்லாம் நான் அன்பு செய்கின்றவர் புரிந்துகொள்வதே இல்லை என்ற குறையோடு வந்த ஒருவரிடம் நான் பேச நேர்ந்தது...  நான் கூறியது: உண்மை தான், தியாகங்கள் உணரப்படாதபோது ஏற்படும் வலி கொடியதே. ஆனால் மற்றொரு உண்மையும் உண்டு... அன்பு உண்மையானது எனின், நான் செய்வது தியாகங்கள் என்றே எனக்கு தோன்றாது, என்றேன். அந்த நபருக்கு நான் சொன்னது ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள சற்று கடினமானதாக தான் இருந்தது ஆனால், என்னவொரு வியப்பு! நான் பேசிவிட்டு வந்தவுடன் முகநூல் நண்பர் ஒருவர் பகிர்ந்திருந்த காணொளி பதிவு ஒன்று என் கண்களில் பட்டது. அதன் சாரம் என்னவென்றால், ஓர் அன்னை தன் குழந்தைக்காக செய்யும் எதையும் தியாகம் என்று ஒருபோதும் கருதுவதில்லை ஏனெனில் அவளிடம் இருப்பது உண்மையான அன்பு! 

இன்று நாம் நினைவுக்கூரும் புனித லாரன்சு அவர்களின் சாட்சியமும், இறைவார்த்தை நமக்கு அளிக்கும் பாடமும் இதையே நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகின்றன. தறுதலில் சிறந்த தருதல், தன்னையே தருதலாகும். தனக்குள்ள நிறைவிலிருந்து தருவது, தனக்குள்ள சிறிதிலிருந்து தருவது, தனக்கே இல்லாவிட்டாலும் துணிந்து தருவது என்ற இவை ஒன்றைவிட ஒன்று சிறந்த வகையான தருதல்களாகும். எனினும் அனைத்து வகை தருதல்களிலும் சிறந்த தருதல், தன்னையே தருதல் என்பதை இறைமகனும் இறைவார்த்தையும் நமக்கு தெள்ளத்தெளிவாக எடுத்துக்கூறுகின்றனர்.

இன்று புனித லாரன்ஸை நாம் நினைவு கூறும் போது தொடக்க கால திருச்சபையில் இந்த படிப்பினை எவ்வளவு ஆழமாக இருந்தது என்பதை சிந்திக்க அழைக்கப்படுகிறோம். இந்த தருதலாலே தான் பலரும் கிறிஸ்துவர்களை கண்டு வியந்தனர், அவர்களை போல வாழவேண்டும் என முடிவெடுத்தனர். புனித ஸ்தேவானாக இருந்தாலும் சரி, புனித பவுலாக இருந்தாலும் சரி, இவர்களுக்கு பிறகு வந்த நூற்றுக்கணக்கான கிறிஸ்தவ மறைசாட்சிகளாக இருந்தாலும் சரி, இன்றைய புனிதராம் லாரன்ஸாக இருந்தாலும் சரி... இவர்கள் அனைவருமே, அகமகிழ்வோடு தருபவர்கள் பேறுபெற்றோர் என்பதை ஆணித்தரமாய் நம்பினார்கள். தாங்கள் தர அழைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம் என்பதை யாரிடமிருந்து இவர்கள் கற்றுக்கொண்டார்கள்: தங்கள் ஒப்பில்லா தலைவரும் போதகருமான இறைமகன் கிறிஸ்துவிடமிருந்தே!

அவரே மண்ணில் விழுந்த கோதுமை மணி... தன்னையே மாய்த்து கொண்டு பலநூறு மடங்கு பலனை பிறருக்கு தரும் கோதுமை மணி. இதுவே கிறிஸ்துவின் வாழ்க்கை, கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்க்கை. நாம் இதை புரிந்து கொள்வது எவ்வளவு அவசியம்! தருவதில் சிறந்த தருதல், தன்னையே தருதலே!

Remembering St. Lawrence, the Deacon-Martyr

August 10, 2018: 2Cor 9: 6-10; Jn 12: 24-26



For some it would appear a coincidence, but for me it was a miracle. Just yesterday, I had to talk sense to someone who was complaining that the person's sacrifice was not respected by the one whom the person loved. I had to tell the person, it is true that lack of recognition of the sacrifices made, pains. But it is also true that true love does not consider those as sacrifices! The miracle was when I returned after the conversation and I came across a video-post shared on a friend's page describing how a mother's love never considers anything done for her child, a sacrifice but just an expression of love! 

The Word and the feast today reminds us of the same message: the best of all giving is, giving of oneself! Giving from one’s abundance, giving of whatever little that one has and giving even if one does not have enough for oneself – these are praise worthy acts in their respective order. But the highest of all giving is Self-giving. 

Celebrating the Deacon-martyr, St. Lawrence, we are reminded of the early Christian communities that were so much characterized by persons who were blessed with the special charism of Giving of their own selves, apart from what they possessed. They were cheerful givers, and so we find their numbers kept growing unprecedentedly. The very spirit that they radiated held captive those who saw them and multitudes were drawn to emulate it. They were ready and willing to die to themselves that Christ may come alive in them! 

St.Paul’s words were true in so many of those early Christians – “I live, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me” (Gal 2:20) and “for me to live is Christ and to die is gain” (Phil 1:21). These were not mere catchy sayings; they were true lived experiences and we witness it in great martyrs like St. Stephen, the apostles and St. Paul himself. St. Lawrence follows suit very closely later in the third century. 

After all, they had but one model who had invaded and conquered their minds, hearts and spirits - Jesus the ultimate personification of self-giving - the grain of seed that chose to fall to the ground, that it may abound in its fruits: we are the fruits and let us be worthy of the grain which has borne us. 

உடன்படிக்கைக்கேற்ற உள்ளமொன்று!

ஆகஸ்ட் 9, 2018: எரே 31: 31-34; மத் 16: 13-23

தொடர்ந்து மூன்றாவது நாளாக இன்று உடன்படிக்கையை குறித்து சிந்திக்க நம்மை அழைக்கிறது இறைவார்த்தை. உடன்படிக்கை என்பது அடிப்படையிலே ஒரு உறவு! நமக்கும் நம் இறைவனாம் ஆண்டவருக்கும் இடையே உள்ள உறவு - இந்த உறவின் ஆழம் எதனால் அறியப்படுகிறது தெரியுமா? இந்த உடன்படிக்கையில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ள இருத்தரப்பினரும் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் எவ்வளவு ஆழமாய் அறிந்திருக்கிறார்கள் என்பதை பொறுத்தே! இறைவன் நம்மை முற்றிலும் அறிவார் என்பது நாம் அறிந்ததே... ஆனால் அவரை குறித்த நமது அறிவு, தெளிவு, உணர்வு, எப்படியுள்ளது என்பதே இங்கு கேள்வி! 

'இதோ, இறைவனை தெரிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்' என்று ஒருவர் மற்றவரை பார்த்து சொல்லவேண்டிய அவசியம் இல்லாத நாள் ஒன்று வரும், ஏனெனில் ஒவ்வொருவரும் இறைவனை ஆழமாய் அறிந்து உணர்ந்திருப்பர் என்று எரேமியா கூறிய நாள் வந்தேவிட்டது... இயேசு பேதுருவை பார்த்து 'நீ பேறுபெற்றவன் ஏனெனில் இறைமகனை குறித்த இந்த அறிவு இறைவன் உனக்கு தந்ததே' என்று பாராட்டுவதை நாம் காண்கின்றோம்! ஆம், இறைவனே தம்மை நமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தியிருக்கிறார்... நாம் பேறுபெற்றவர்களே!

இறைவன் தன்னையே நமக்கு இவ்வாறு வெளிப்படுத்தினாலும், நாம் வெகு விரைவில் அதை மறந்துவிடும் மக்களாய் இருப்பதனால் பல நேரங்களில் இறைவனோடு நமக்குள்ள உறவை நாம் ஓரந்தள்ளிவிடுகிறோம். கடவுளுக்கும் நமக்கும் எந்த ஒட்டோ உறவோ இல்லாதது போல் நடந்து கொள்கிறோம். இந்த மறக்கும் மனம், இந்த ஒவ்வாத உள்ளமே நம்மை நமது உடன்படிக்கையை விட்டு விலக செய்கிறது, ஆனால் இறைவனோ மறப்பதும் இல்லை, நம்மை விட்டு விலகுவதுமில்லை. 

இதோ இன்றும் நமக்கு ஒரு உறுதியளிக்கிறார்... 'உங்களுக்கு இந்த உடன்படிக்கைக்கேற்ற உள்ளமொன்று தருவேன்... பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள், மனம் மாறுங்கள், என்னிடம் திரும்பி வாருங்கள், எத்தனை தொலைவு நீங்கள் சென்றிருந்தாலும் என்னை விட்டு விலகமுடியாது ஏனெனில், நான் உங்களை விட்டு விலகுவதில்லையே!' என்று நம்மை அன்போடு அழைக்கிறார்... அவரது மக்களாய், அவரது மந்தையை சேர்ந்தவர்களாய், அவரைப்போன்றே அன்பின் உள்ளம் பெற்றவர்களாய், நமது உடன்படிக்கையின் உறவிற்கு திரும்புவோம், புத்துயிர் பெறுவோம். 

A heart worthy of the Covenant

Thursday, 18th week in Ordinary time

August 9, 2018: Jer 31: 31-34; Mt 16: 13-23

For the third day today, the discussion about the Covenant of the Lord continues. The covenant is fundamentally a relationship between the Lord and us, God's people, God's children! And the gauge with which one's connectedness to the covenant is measured is the depth or the intimacy of the mutual knowledge of the partners of the covenant. There is no doubt, the Lord knows us through and through. What about our knowing the Lord?

The day will come when you will not have to teach your loved ones to know God...for every one will know God in those days, promises the Lord. Jesus applauds Peter, saying his knowledge of Christ was exceptional, because it was God given! The day has come when Peter knew who the Lord was, as we read in Jeremiah.

The reality is, though God reveals Godself to us and we get to know God so intimately, our memories are so very fickle and short lived. We give into our human tendencies so easily and readily as if there were nothing so great between us and God! Our memories may be thus short, but not God's. God forgives, waits and readily renews the covenant that God made with us. 

The Lord promises to give us a new heart, a heart of flesh, a heart that takes after the sensibilities of God, a heart that sees as God does, a heart that hears as God does, a heart that feels as God does, a heart that loves as God loves... a heart that is worthy of the covenant that God has made with us.

எஞ்சியோரும், மற்றோரும்!

ஆகஸ்ட் 8, 2018: எரே 31: 1-7; மத் 15: 21-28

நான் உங்கள் கடவுளாய் இருப்பேன், நீங்கள் என் மக்களாய் இருப்பீர்கள், என்று தன் மக்களோடு தான் செய்த உடன்படிக்கையை இறைவன் என்றுமே மறந்ததில்லை. மக்கள் எத்தனை முறை தவறுகள் செய்து அவரை விட்டு விலகினாலும், அவரோ அம்மக்களை திரும்ப அழைத்து அணைத்த வண்ணமே இருக்கிறார். இதையே இன்று எரேமியாவும் நமக்கு எடுத்து சொல்கிறார். ஆனால் இறுதியில் இறைவனின் நன்மை தனத்தை அனுபவித்து மகிழ இருப்பவர்கள் யார் என்று இறைவார்த்தை நமக்கு கூறும்போது, எஞ்சியோரும் மற்றோருமே இறுதியாய் மகிழ்வார்கள் என்று நம்மை எச்சரிக்கிறது! 

எஞ்சியோர் என்பவர்கள் இந்த உலகமே ஒரு வழியில் செல்ல, தாங்கள் மட்டும் நிதானித்து சரி எது பிழை எது, இறைவனுக்கு ஏற்றது எது ஏற்பில்லாதது எது, என்று சிந்தித்து முடிவெடுத்து தங்களுக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்ட வழியிலிருந்து தவறாமல் இறுதியாய் எஞ்சி நிற்பவர்களாவர்.   

மற்றோர் என்பவர்கள் பொதுவாக யாராலும் முக்கியத்துவம் தரப்படாது, தாங்களே இறைவனுக்கு உரியவர்கள் என்று தங்களையே உயர்திக்கொள்ளும் கூட்டத்திலிருந்து மாறுபட்டு, கடவுளையே தாங்கள் தான் குத்தகைக்கு எடுத்துவிட்டதுபோல் மார்தட்டி திரியும் மூளையற்ற மனிதர்களிடமிருந்து தனித்து விடுபட்ட எளிமையான மக்கள்... இவர்களின் எளிமையில் இறைவனை மட்டுமே நம்பும் குணத்தை பெற்றவர்கள், இறைவன் முன் தாங்கள் ஒன்றுமில்லை என்பதை உண்மையில் உணர்ந்து நம்புபவர்கள், உண்மையையம், அன்பையும் இறைவனின் இரக்கத்தையும் மட்டுமே முதன்மைபடுத்தி வாழ்பவர்கள். 

இந்த எஞ்சியோரும் மற்றோரும் மட்டுமே இறுதியில் இறைவனின் உடன்படிக்கைக்கு உரியவர்கள் ஆவார்கள் என்று விளக்கும் இன்றைய வாசகங்கள் நமக்கு தரும் பாடம் ஒன்றே: உலகத்தின் போக்கின் படி ஒழுகாதீர்கள், மாறாக கிறிஸ்துவில் மாற்றம் பெற்று புது படைப்பாகுங்கள்! 

The Remnant and the Rest

Wednesday, 18th week in Ordinary time 

August 8, 2018: Jer 31: 1-7; Mt 15: 21-28

The Lord renews the covenant with the people  inspite  of their failures because the Lord had always loved  them with an everlasting love. Today the Word warns us that those who will finally taste the fruits of God's faithfulness are the remnant and the rest of the people who come by and stick to the Lord.

The remnant are those who choose to differ from the mainstream inspired  by a genuine conviction and sincere effort to be integral. While the entire world runs after some things that they consider important, even more important than the absolutes like God, love and humanity, there are a few who remain strong, unmoved and totally committed to truth. These form the remnant that pleases God.

The rest are those who are least expected to be favoured in the eyes of the Lord. The world has its own criteria of judgement but the Lord has a totally different set of criteria... single minded dedication to the Lord, genuine love for God's people and authentic life after the mind of God. Whatever the world may say, these become the beloved of God!

The message is simple and straightforward but highly challenging: Do not conform to the world;  instead be transformed in Christ into new beings!

The Courage to Wait

Tuesday, 18th week in Ordinary time

August 7, 2018: Jer 30: 1-2,12-15,18-22; Mt 14: 22-36

Waiting seems an undue demand on persons these days. Traffic, queues, public modes of transport...everywhere this is the feeling we see invariably - people resent to wait. With the Lord, there is no other way to peace than to wait... for God abides in eternity!

Jeremiah today speaks of an imminent and wholesome intervention by God on behalf of the people of Israel. All this while he would be taking to task those people who spoke of a positive change of the times, he would find fault and challenge them. But now they are all silenced, but Jeremiah speaks of it: restoring, rebuilding and raising Israel back from its dust, to be God's people.

Jesus' intention was to state without doubt the fact that whatever happens the Lord never leaves us- be it storming sea or the threatening world around, the last word is the Lord's and we need to wait till the last word is said! It takes enormous courage to do that. 

Our patience runs dry, our ground appears to give way, our trust shifts focus and our minds begin to question. When every thing around us seems to be going wrong, can we just hold the hands of the Lord and keep walking come what may... that requires the courage to wait!

காத்திருத்தலே நம்பிக்கை

ஆகஸ்ட் 7, 2018: எரே 30: 1-2,12-15,18-22; மத் 14: 22-36

காத்திருத்தல் என்பது மக்களுக்கு சாதாரணமாக எரிச்சலூட்டும் தருணமாகவே உள்ளது. சாலை ஒழுங்காக இருக்கட்டும், வாகன நெரிசலாக இருக்கட்டும், பொது இடங்களில் வரிசைகளாகட்டும், பொது போக்குவரத்திற்கு நின்றிருக்கும் நேரமாகட்டும்... இவை அனைத்துமே மக்களை பொறுமை இழக்கவும், அங்கலாய்க்கவும் செய்கிறது. ஆனால் இறைவனை பொறுத்தமட்டில், மன அமைதிக்கும் மகிழ்ச்சியான வாழ்க்கைக்கும் காத்திருப்பதை தவிர்த்து வேறு எந்த வழியும் நமக்கு இல்லை! ஏனெனில் இறைவனின் இருத்தல் கால நேரத்திற்குள் அடங்காத ஒன்றாகும்... அவரை பொறுத்தவரை ஆயிரமாண்டு ஒரு நாள் என்று நாம் படிப்பது இதை தானே! இறைவன் முதலும் முடிவும் அற்றவராய் மட்டுமல்ல, கடந்தவை நிகழ்பவை என்ற வேறுபாடற்று இருக்கிறார்.

எரேமியா இன்று நம்மிடம் இறைவன் செயல்படும் காலம் நெருங்கிவிட்டது என்று கூறும்போது, அந்த நெருக்கத்தை நாம் ஏதோ இன்றோ நாளையோ என்று பொருள் கொண்டால் அது குழப்பம் தரும். இறைவனுக்கு எதிராய் தங்கள் மனம் போன போக்கில் பேசியவர்களை எல்லாம் சாடிய எரேமியா இறைவன் தனக்கே உரிய நேரத்தில் நமது வாழ்வின் பொருளை நாம் உணர செய்வார் என்று நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகிறார். 

கிறிஸ்துவும் இதையே வேறு வகையில் நமக்கு நினைவுறுத்துகிறார்... புயல் சூழ்ந்தாலும், இருள் படர்ந்தாலும், பகைவர் உன்னை நெருக்கினாலும், எந்த நேரத்திலும் உன் மனதை இழந்துவிடாதே... இறுதி வார்த்தை கடவுளுடையதாகவே இருக்கும்! அந்த இறுதி வார்த்தை வரை நாம் காத்திருத்தல் வேண்டும்... இந்த காத்திருத்தலே நம்பிக்கை!

நமது பொறுமை இழந்துவிடாமல், இறைவன் மீதுள்ள பற்று குறைந்துவிடாமல், மன உறுதி மங்கிவிடாமல், இறைவன் மீது பதித்த கண்களை ஒருபோதும் எடுத்துவிடாமல், பிடித்த அவரது கைகளை எந்நேரத்திலும் விட்டுவிடாமல் காத்திருத்தலே நம்பிக்கை!

விடிவெள்ளிக்கு முன் விளக்காக!

ஆகஸ்ட் 6, 2018: ஆண்டவரின் உருமாற்ற விழா 

தானியேல் 7: 9-10, 13-14;  2 பேதுரு 1: 16-19; மத் 17: 1-9

தாபோர் மலையிலுள்ள உருமாற்றத்தின் 
ஆலயத்தின் கூரையின் உட்புறத்திலுள்ள ஓவிய அமைப்பு 

பொழுது புலர்ந்து விடிவெள்ளி உங்கள் இதயங்களில் தோன்றும்வரை இருண்ட இடத்தில் ஒளிரும் விளக்கைப் போன்று, என்று தூய பேதுரு நமக்கு அளிக்கும் ஒப்புமை நமது கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்விற்கு முற்றிலும் தகுந்த ஒப்புமையாக விளங்குகிறது. நமது நம்பிக்கை, நமது சாட்சிய வாழ்வு, இறைவன் மீது நமக்குள்ள எதிர்நோக்கு, இறையரசை நோக்கி நாம் காட்டும் அர்ப்பணம் என அனைத்தையுமே அது மிக துல்லியமாக குறித்து காட்டிவிடுகிறது. இன்னும் ஆழமாய் சென்று நமக்காக காத்திருக்கும் இறைவனின் பிள்ளைகள் என்ற அழியா மகிமையையும் (யோ 1:12), கிறிஸ்துவோடு பங்காளிகள் என்னும் நிலையையும் (உரோ 8:17), மாட்சிமைக்குரிய மக்கள் என்னும் எதிர்நோக்கையும் (உரோ 8:18) அது நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது. 

உண்மையான கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்வின் முழு பொருளையும் நாம் உணர வேண்டும் என்றால் அதில் அடங்கியுள்ள மறைபொருளை நாம் மறந்துவிட கூடாது. மறைபொருள் என்பது ஏதோ மறைந்து கிடக்கின்ற ஒரு பொருள் என்று நாம் புரிந்துகொள்ளாது, நம்  வாழ்நாள் எல்லாம் நிறைந்து கிடக்கின்ற ஒரு உண்மை என்று நாம் உணர வேண்டும். அதை எடுத்துக்காட்டவே கிறிஸ்து தனது சீடர்களுக்கு இன்றைய அனுபவத்தை தருகிறார். வாழ்க்கை என்பது நாம் வெளித்தோற்றமாய் காண்கின்றவை மட்டுமல்ல, அதை தாண்டி உண்மையின் ஆழத்தில் பலவற்றை நம்மால் உணரமுடியும், அனுபவிக்க முடியும், பகிர முடியும், பற்றி கொள்ள முடியும் என்று நாம் உணர வேண்டும். 

கிறிஸ்துவின் உருமாற்ற நிகழ்வு இதையே சீடர்களுக்கு எடுத்து கூறியது, நமக்கும் எடுத்து கூறுகிறது. இதற்காக வெறும் கற்பனைகளிலும் இல்லாத ஒன்றை ஊகிக்கும் போக்குகளிலும் நமது வாழ்வை நாம் வீணடித்துவிட கூடாது. அன்றாட வாழ்வை முழுமையாய் வாழ்ந்து கொண்டே, இந்த வாழ்வு உண்மையில் நம்மை எங்கு அழைத்து செல்கிறது என்பதை மறந்துவிடாது எதிர்நோக்கோடும் அகன்ற பார்வையோடும் தொடர்ந்து செல்ல வேண்டும் என்று இறைவார்த்தை நம்மை அழைக்கிறது. 

உருமாற்றத்தின் மக்கள், உள்ளதையும் அதை தாண்டிய உண்மையையும் உணர்ந்தவர்களாக, தங்கள் கண்கள் விண்ணிலும் தங்கள் கால்கள் மண்ணிலும் பதிய வாழ்பவர்களாவர். ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் நமது வாழ்வை முழுமையாய் வாழ்ந்து, அதை இறைவனுக்காக, இறையரசிற்காக வாழ்கிறோம் என்று உணரும்போது, நாமும் உருமாற்றத்தின் மக்களாய் உருவெடுக்கிறோம்! பொழுது புலர்ந்து விடிவெள்ளி அனைவர் இதயங்களில் தோன்றும்வரை இருண்ட இடத்தில் ஒளிரும் விளக்கைப் போன்று நமது வாழ்வு என்றும் இவ்வுலகில் ஒளிரட்டும்!

Called to burn until we are consumed

August 6, 2018: The Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord

Dan 7: 9-10, 13-14;  2 Pet 1: 16-19; Mt 17: 1-9

"A lamp shining in a dark place until day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts" - a wonderful analogy that St. Peter presents to us. It would apply to our faith, our life of witness, our trust, our commitment to the Reign of God and every bit of our faith and its expression here and now, all leading us towards that eternal glory that awaits us as children of God(Jn 1:12), co-heirs with Christ(Rom 8:17), people meant for the future glory (Rom 8:18). 

Our Christian life is rich and its richness will be lost if we lose the sense of mystery in understanding it. Mystery is not merely something that is unknown and incomprehensible, but it is something that is beyond all our rational calculations and empirical conditions; yet it is not totally alien from our experience; it is part of our lived experience, an experience we live on a daily basis, an experience that sustains our faith and offers meaning to our life.

The feast of Transfiguration is a symbol, a prefigurement and a surety of the glory that rests within us, as children of God. However, we are warned not to lose our grip on our daily living, on our concrete initiatives towards ushering in the Reign of God under the pretext of dreaming about a future that is glorious and splendid. 

In practical terms, to be people transfigured, is to live our lives with our eyes fixed on heaven and our feet planted firm on ground, to never lose the hope that the Lord offers in Himself and to never rest from our efforts to build the Reign of God here on earth. It is a call to burn until we are totally consumed, totally consumed for the sake of the mission that the Lord entrusts to us, consumed living our daily life to the full, empowering every person to live it to their full.
